If person A filters pictures for person B not to see in a facebook album. Person B can still see the full album count, but not all pictures in it.
Person B will see that there are say 100 pictures present in an album, but after he opens the album only 3 are view-able. This indicates that the album has undergone privacy filtering.
In my opinion, person B need not be aware that a privacy filtering has been applied. As far as he knows there are only 3 pictures in an album. Seeing the total album count just reveals unnecessary information.
That aside. Fuck facebook.
